The Eucharist is “the source and summit of the Christian life. The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. -CCC 1324

Building Community

Our Parish community is rooted in the Eucharist as the “source and summit of the Christian life (CCC 1324).” We are constantly growing as a Parish family, closer to one another and to God through study of scripture, the reception of the Sacraments and serving of our local community.

At LOTW we offer the opportunity to adore the Blessed Sacrament 24/7 with our Perpetual Adoration Chapel.

Knitting & Crochet Ministry

Knitting & Crochet Ministry

The Knitting & Crochet Ministry is committed to providing warm, handmade items to those in need. Approximately 20-25 volunteers meet the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month from 1:00-3:00 PM throughout the year. We share a wonderful sense of community while learning new skills as we craft hats, scarves, baby items and blankets. These items are donated to the Light of the World Respect Life Ministry, area hospitals, nursing homes, Samaritan Shelter and migrant workers. Our ministry relies solely on donations of soft, washable yarn to fulfill our mission. Our donation box is located in the west hallway between Lux Mundi Hall  and the Community Center.
