Bettinger Photography Sessions

From August 17-September 5, Bettinger Photography will once again come to Light of the World to take photographs of families and individuals that will be included in a new photo directory. Photos can also be taking at the Bettinger studio. To sign up for your session, visit their website.  As you may remember, there is no cost to you or to the church for engaging with Bettinger to produce our new directory.

RCIA Informational Meeting

Are you not baptized or baptized in another faith tradition? Interested in completing your sacraments? Come to the Community Center at 9:15 am for more information about this process for the upcoming year. The process is called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). If you cannot attend the meeting or have questions beforehand, please contact Sherwood Owens.

St. Joseph Job Support Ministry

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

The St. Joseph Job Support Group will be holding a Zoom meeting on Wednesday, July 15 at 9:30 am to discuss such topics as job search strategies during the pandemic and how to navigate the challenges of getting and conducting interviews during our current situation.   Please let Suzanne Anctil know if you are interested in attending by emailing stjministry@yahoo.com and she will send you the link to the meeting.


Adoration is currently following a limited schedule and is available everyday of the week from 9:15 am to 7:00 pm. Adoration will be in Lux Mundi Hall and is limited to 10 people at a time.

Multiple priests will be available beginning at 4:00 pm until 6:30 pm.

Fishers of Men

The Men’s Club of LOTW hosts men age 18 and above to help them seek out their faith. The meeting will be at 8:00 am in the Community Center. Coffee and donuts are provided.

Prayer in the Square

Community Sunday (modified)

Join after all Masses for a modified version of Community Sunday. There will still be food and drinks, plus an opportunity to learn about different events happening this summer and fall.

Join the faithful each First Saturday at Prayer in the Square for Respect Life. We pray for God’s love and mercy and for peace in our hearts and in the world and for the healing and sanctification of our Church. We will meet at 10:00 am at the large LOTW sign on Bowles and pray a Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet.

Everyone is invited to Lux Mundi Hall after all the Masses for cookies (evening Masses) or donuts (morning Masses). Come and learn about all the different ministries at our parish!

K of C Parish Breakfast

Join us from 8:30 am to noon for an all you can eat breakfast. Enjoy a breakfast of homemade green chile, pancakes, scrambled eggs and more!

Blood Drive

This month is the Winter Clothing Collection. Please bring new or gently used men’s and women’s coats, jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts, sweaters, underwear, socks, blankets, jeans, boots, hats and gloves. Items can be dropped off at the Holy Family Center before each weekend Mass.

The Knights of Columbus Council 12567 along with Children’s Hospital Blood Center will have a blood drive in the west parking lot from 8:30 am to 12:15 pm. Please contact Frank Seagren at franknronnie@msn.com to schedule an appointment.

Blessing of the Animals

To commemorate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the saint who loved and cared for all God’s creation, bring your pets for a blessing on the front lawn of the church at 5:45 pm.
