Providing a Future Full of Hope

Christ, the Light of the World, is the center and foundation of our lives. We seek to reflect His light at all times and to all people.

A Welcome Message From Our Pastor

Welcome to Light of the World Catholic Church in Littleton, Colorado!

Christ, the Light of the World, is the center and foundation of our lives.  We seek to reflect His light at all times and to all people. Enlivened by God’s grace, gospel truth and the teachings proclaimed by the Church, we strive for holiness in all we are and in all we do to the glory of God, now and for ages unending.  Amen.

In the Gospel of Mark, Jesus formed His apostles in a way that should be repeated in every Christian’s life: “He appointed twelve that they might be with him and he might send them forth…” (Mark 3:14) The apostles encountered Jesus through His call, they were established in communion with Him and thus with each other, and they were sent forth to share the gift (charism) of the life they had received from Jesus. Encounter-Communion-Charism is the pattern of Christian life, and we strive to live it here in our parish.

We hope this website will serve both visitors and our current parish members looking for information. If you have any questions about the parish or how you can get involved, feel free to also call the office at 303-973-3969.
