A Welcome Message From Our Pastor
Welcome to Light of the World Roman Catholic Church in Littleton, Colorado! Whether you are new to our parish or have been coming here a while and have decided to register, we are grateful to have you as part of our parish family!
The Mass is the source and summit of the Church’s life, and I hope you make that the weekly cornerstone of your own life. There are also many additional ways that we encounter Christ and experience His saving love: in the sacraments, in faith and prayer formation, and through fellowship. This abundant life then overflows into our mission, given by Jesus to each of us, to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19) and renew all things in Christ. As a parish, we are committed to helping you grow and live your life of Christian discipleship.
The vibrancy of a parish is a work of the Holy Spirit, but it also relies on the engagement of its members. And this does not just mean money! While we do count on regular contributions through online giving or envelopes, we have many ways for you to get involved. I hope that you will consider the gifts given to you by God and how those gifts can benefit the mission of the Church.
We are excited to welcome you and help you get connected! Please feel free to contact our office with any questions you may have about our parish, ministries, or events. Our regular office hours are Tuesday through Friday from 8:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-5:00pm. We look forward to hearing from you.
Yours in Christ,
Fr. Gregg Pedersen, Pastor
