“The Christian family loudly proclaims both the present virtues of the Kingdom of God and the hope of a blessed life to come.” – Lumen Gentium

In Their Words

What are other people saying about the programs?

“I have thoroughly enjoyed the adult formation classes with Dawn Maurath. They have enforced previous teachings, taught new concepts and made me more comfortable navigating through the bible. Dawn is a very good moderater and teacher. She’s very knowledgeable about the different parts of the bible and explains things simply and honestly. I will definitely sign up for more classes. Won’t you consider joining us?”

Rosalia F.

“I would highly recommend attending a LOTW Adult Education class regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey. Dawn selects relevant and excellent topics that are presented by gifted nationally known writers and speakers. Dawn’s spirituality, biblical knowledge and life experiences enable her to provide context and background if needed. The student participants provide rich and diverse insight on how the lessons apply to everyday problems. It is a very rewarding endeavor.”

Tom M.

“The classes I have taken through adult faith formation at LOTW have been more rewarding than I could have imagined. I came to my first class thinking I would sit in the back, stay unnoticed and try to keep up with everyone who was sure to know more than me. What i found out first was that we are blessed to have a wealth of knowledge in the staff at LOTW! The format ended up being a video and discussion with people that I have come to know instead of just sit near at mass. I soon also learned that all of us come from a different place in our faith journey with many questions and much to learn! The courses I have taken are all well produced and entertaining. Nothing about the class or the other attendees is intimidating and each class has been well worth the time. In the last few years of taking the courses, I have grown in my faith, learned more about the church and come to appreciate the mass in a new and fulfilling way. What is keeping you from joining us?”
