FAMILY FAITH FORMATION SESSIONS for 2025-2026.
Enrollment for Formation sessions open on June 2 and close on July 14
If you desire to have your child receive formation in the Catholic faith and they are 7 or older and have had no previous formation, please send an email to Bridget@lotw.org
so we can get together and discuss what would be involved.
Please note: Two years of formation are required to prepare for receiving the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist.
We will be offering two options for formation!
Sunday Family Session
Families are invited to attend the 8:00 AM Mass. Afterwards we will share a breakfast together. Formation will be offered from 9:45 to 11:00AM for parents; children will receive age appropriate formation as well (PreK-K; 1-5th G). Childcare for children under the age of 4 will be provided. We don’t meet every Sunday. First class will be September 21.
Wednesday Elementary Session
4:00 to 5:30 PM
In this session we will offer Catechesis of the Good Shepherd I (4-5 y.o.) and II (6 y.o.); Preparation for Reconciliation 2nd G); and Jr. Youth (4th & 5th G). First class will be September 24.
The sacrament of Baptism leads the baptized to new life in Christ and equips us for a journey, initiated by God, to strive for holiness, to become a living disciple of Jesus Christ, and ultimately to become a saint. As a Catholic community, together we journey on the path of discipleship through all stages of human development, beginning in early childhood, through elementary age, middle and high school.
Your desire to have your child formed in the Catholic faith is pleasing to our Lord. It is a privilege to support you in this endeavor and, on behalf of Father Matt and the Family Formation Team, we are committed to serving your family and accompanying your children as they discover the mercy and love of Jesus Christ.
The Family Faith Formation Team has developed ideals grounded in the Church’s teaching on the life and mission of the baptized and the family. There are a number practices under each ideal for you to consider on just how we should live out the gift of Baptism.
